Who We Are

The Island Hop Company is a 100% family-owned and operated hop farm located in Mount Albion PEI. Our farm has actively involved four generations of our family. Our farm is the result of the diligent work and experience of our generational farming legacy. This legacy is a recognition of our agricultural heritage and the traditions it has carefully created over time. We also maintain a continuous and unwavering commitment to the scientific process to constantly improve our operations, and the experiences that our products help create. (See ‘Our Contributions’) This will allow us to maintain a firm commitment to sustainability, minimize our impact on our fragile climate, while producing the best hops, for the best beer that PEI has to offer.

We are honoured and humbled to be able to work together, along with our friends and colleagues on PEI, including our farming friends at Shoreline Malting. We are also honoured to work with our brewing and farming friends across the Maritimes and around the world to produce the highest quality hops to serve the beer-producing industry both locally and abroad.
